Blogsline

I signed up without too much difficulty too. Much less stressful than AIM which I used once duing the first day and have forgotten ever since. Maybe for those of us who don't do this sort of thing as a regular habit, there ought to be an exercise where we practice something everyday so we don't forget what we created for an exercise have it or how to use whatever if we do remember.

I chose some of the picks offered at the site and then searched and added one for Bruce Springsteen. I also thought I added the Blue 2.0 blog but I didn't see it so I'll try again.

I started to read some posts to one of my picks. It was about cats. I read a post that SERIOUSLY ticked me off and stewed about it for hours afterwards. I wanted to go back on and call that poster all sorts of not nice things but someone else had done it for me and I probably wouldn't have had the guts to do it anyway. I can see how this sort of thing can suck your mind and you could end up spending way to much of your time on it if you didn't have discipline. And, as anyone who knows my diet, exercise and saving money histories, I don't have discipline.

Peace-RJ

Some of these bloggers make me so angry! I know what you mean. There are a number of interesting academic librarians out there writing--many about instruction and reference. You might be interested in adding a few of them as well. Now if only Bloglines could help us find the time to read all this stuff.
